Memorandum #76: Update on Temporary Payout Options - Discontinuation of GCASH

Memorandum #76
To: All Telework PH Employees
Cc: HR and Accounting
Date: May 29, 2023
FOR STRICT COMPLIANCE.
This is to inform everyone that effective June 20, 2023, we will no longer be accepting GCASH as a mode of temporary payout. After careful consideration and in line with our ongoing efforts to streamline our financial processes, we have decided to focus exclusively on the following four banks:
Unionbank PH
BDO
Metrobank
BPI
These banks have proven to be reliable and efficient partners for our financial transactions, ensuring smoother and more convenient payout processes.
Please note that UnionbankPH is our official payout bank, thus other banks listed above will only be accepted for new hires. If you have been issued an official UB Payroll account, then that will be utilized.
We understand that some of you may currently have your payout set to GCASH. We kindly request that you take the necessary steps to update your preferred payout method on or before June 15, 2023, to one of the four designated banks mentioned above.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement these changes. Should you require any further clarification or assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to our HR and Accounting department via email or Slack.
