Memorandum #76: Update on Temporary Payout Options – Discontinuation of GCASH

Memorandum #76: Update on Temporary Payout Options - Discontinuation of GCASH

Memorandum #76

To: All Telework PH Employees
Cc: HR and Accounting

Date: May 29, 2023

This is to inform everyone that effective June 20, 2023, we will no longer be accepting GCASH as a mode of temporary payout. After careful consideration and in line with our ongoing efforts to streamline our financial processes, we have decided to focus exclusively on the following four banks:

Unionbank PH

These banks have proven to be reliable and efficient partners for our financial transactions, ensuring smoother and more convenient payout processes.

Please note that UnionbankPH is our official payout bank, thus other banks listed above will only be accepted for new hires. If you have been issued an official UB Payroll account, then that will be utilized.

We understand that some of you may currently have your payout set to GCASH. We kindly request that you take the necessary steps to update your preferred payout method on or before June 15, 2023, to one of the four designated banks mentioned above.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement these changes. Should you require any further clarification or assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to our HR and Accounting department via email or Slack.

What if my UnionbankPH payroll ATM is lost?

Please report this immediately to UnionbankPH so you may be issued a new card however
payout will still be transferred to your UB Account. You may access it through your online banking app or, you may withdraw over the counter.

Until when can I submit the Bank Authorization Form?

For new hires, please submit this immediately as stated on your contracts. HR Team will reach out to process your UB payroll account.

For those with UB accounts but are not using it, we will disburse your June 20 payout to the UnionbankPH Account number assigned to you. If you do not have access to this, please reach out to any UB Branch to report or get a new card or to utilize over-the-counter withdrawals.
